Service Description

Looking for a safe way to give your reactive dog more exposure around other dogs? Our Reactive Social Class is a more relaxed, owner-led session designed to provide controlled exposure and real-world experiences without the pressure of a formal training class. Think of it as a social session with purpose. Dogs can observe, move around the environment, work through exercises, settle, sniff and simply learn to exist around other dogs in a safe and controlled setting. 🐾 Build confidence 🐾 Practice calm behaviours 🐾 Improve engagement with your handler 🐾 Learn neutrality around dogs and people 🐾 Gain valuable real-world experience 🐾 Work at your dog's pace There are no forced interactions and dogs are never expected to meet. The focus is on helping your dog feel comfortable, make good choices and learn that the presence of other dogs doesn't always mean they need to react. Whether your dog is fearful, frustrated, over-excited or simply struggles to stay calm around other dogs, this session provides a supportive environment to help them progress. Because sometimes the best training comes from simply learning how to be around the world. 💙🐕 📍 Kingston Park Community Centre 📩 Message Best Pawtential Dog Training to discuss whether this session is suitable for your dog.

We offer a range of group classes, socialisation sessions, and 1-to-1 training, supporting dogs of all ages — from brand-new puppies to adolescents, adult dogs, and those struggling with reactivity or confidence. Whether you’re laying foundations, refining skills, or working through more complex behaviour challenges, we’re here to help every step of the way.

  • Helping owners feel confident, capable, and supported

Every dog is an individual, and we tailor our approach to suit your dog’s needs, lifestyle, and goals. Training should be enjoyable, empowering, and something you both look forward to — not stressful or overwhelming.
